I'm a graduate student at NYU Steinhardt studying media theory and the internet. Originally from New Delhi, India, I hold an undergraduate degree in polisci & economics from LSR. I'm deeply inspired by what's possible in the machine age and love learning about new trends in this space.

Previously

I've spent time in media, writing, and research adjacent roles.

* Before NYU, for nearly a year, I wrote about the AI ecosystem at Analytics India Magazine in Bangalore, with stories including ElevenLabs' use case for India, Menlo Ventures' thesis & Anthropic investment, Y Combinator's legacy with Indian startup founders, AI pricing in developing countries, and the rise of AI scientists, among others.

* Even before that, I was part of Edelman's health team, where I contributed to meaningful campaigns helping clients build their India presence.

* During undergrad, I led my department's editorial publication.

Questions

These are some questions that I find interesting, inspired by Patrick Collison. I'll keep updating this.

* Why was Plato against writing, even as, ironically, everything we know about Socrates comes from his writings?

* Is the endgame of all content eventually just video? Thinking about how even Substack, a writing platform, recently tapped into that format.

* How does nostalgia or cultural attachment influence how we value old methods, even when better alternatives exist?

* How does product design change in the transition to an agent economy?

Etc

I love discovering new music all the time. Currently, I'm bumping Fred again's USB. My all time favorite is Blonde by Frank Ocean, who imo is a Pulitzer-level songwriter.
